Snoring causes problems for many people but too many of them resign themselves to thinking that there is little or nothing that they can do about it. Do you want to know how to cut down on snoring? Read on to find out.
For those of you 'serious' snorers (like myself - the shame!) there are various devices that you can use - Good Morning Snore Solution is one that I have tried & tested along with another one called SnoreWizard (I will be doing review posts about these in other posts) - this post is just giving a few tips:
Tip #1 - Smoking - If you snore and smoke cigarettes, one way to reduce the snoring is to quit the smoking. When smoking, the throat tissues towards the back can get irritated. When this occurs, it can cause swelling in your throat. Throat inflammation leads to snoring, and snoring, in turn, leads to a sore throat.

Toned muscles will help you breathe better and reduce your snoring. Likewise, some musical instruments, such as the saxophone or trumpet, can strengthen these muscles too.
Tip #4 - Lose Weight - Being overweight, specifically those with excessive neck fat, are more likely to snore. The snoring is worse due to the extra fat around their windpipes. If you are above your ideal weight, think about shedding those extra pounds. You can look and sleep better.
One way to reduce or prevent your snoring is with a snoring treatment that you can purchase over-the-counter. Speak with your pharmacist to find out which remedies are the safest and most effective. Although prescription treatments are also available, you may be able to save money if you can find an effective over-the-counter product. The medicines counteract the swelling, and other factors that narrow your air passages.
